A short film about rethinking the body through those without.

"Coronation" Sound effects are natural and organic to contrast the unnatural nature of the dental work in order to evoke the inverse of man-made masquerading as natural, something I feel is at the core of restorative dentistry. Sounds bites were taken from cooking applesauce, a cat, a dog, birds, the wind, a lake, cooking bacon, and the human voice, among other things. Special thanks to Jon Packman, Melissa Boyd, and the patient just crazy enough to let me film their crown. Special thanks to Josh Packman for recording imitations of my grandfather's many non-verbal "isms" for use in this piece.
